Helping Hands Coupons for Father's

Outline the child's hand four or five times on construction
paper. Write on the first hand "Helping Hands
Coupons for Dad." On each of the following hands,
ask the child for ideas of things that they can do to
help their father. Examples are: shine his shoes
(especially if Mom puts on the polish first and the child
can buff them with a shoeshine brush), helping to take
out the trash or water outside plants, dusting
his dresser or putting toothpaste on his toothbrush
every night for a week, helping wash the car, a
kiss and a hug. You can adapt these to the
abilities of your child. The child can color the backside
of every hand. Staple them together and give them to Dad
